Hey all,

We know some of you are frustrated due to the exhaustion of PPP and EIDL funds. As a fellow small business, we are still here to help you in any way that we can. The team recently came across a new opportunity for small businesses, specifically ones with less than 20 employees.

The US Chamber of Commerce Foundation released information regarding the Save Small Business Fund. As long as the requirements below are met, small businesses are eligible for a $5,000 grant to be used for business expenses. The application opens today, Monday, April 20th, at 3:00 p.m. EST.

Requirements:
  • 3 to 20 employees
  • Business zip code falls in an economically vulnerable community
  • Financially impacted by COVID-19

You can check your zip code eligibility here as well as sign up to receive the application as soon as it goes live.  The website states that the application will take about 10 minutes and general business information will be needed, such as what you'd see on a W-9 (business address, EIN, tax classification, etc.).

The Save Small Business Fund is administered by the US Chamber of Commerce Foundation. The Chamber Foundation is a private sector 501(c)(3) charity affiliated with the US Chamber of Commerce and is not a government agency. They will send a follow-up survey to all grantees to learn how the grant was spent and the impact that it made.

As always, thank you for your patience during this process as well as your continued support!

Tim
